Introduce yourself!

I love my Hollowbody! I've had a couple quirks with it, but I always manage to resolve them. Just so doggone versatile and so super smooth playing. Mind you, smooth's a PRS trait on every one I've played. which isn't that many given I've only been a PRS fan for 4 years. But the first one I picked up just rang my bell totally. I'm hooked and I don't mind saying so.
Guess I gotta drive from VA to MD to try one. They sound kind of bell-like but maybe that's just me.

I am the current owner of a SE Hollowbody II Piezo thanks to a good friend of mine who owns several PRS Guitars
I borrowed his and fell in love with it

Good to have ya' FFB! Nice choice, my 594 HBII is my daily player ;~))

At first they are very different, and they do take a bit of getting used to. I found the piezo pickup extremely hot for my tastes, but a few twiddles and tweaks on settings opened a whole other door. I love blending it with the mags through two different amps.

Not uncommon I think. At the store where I bought mine the tech isn't really a PRS fan at all, but he was really amazed with mine when he did the set-up on it. Which BTW wasn't very much, just a check on the action and frets and a wee touch on the intonation and she was right as rain. He's a diehard Gibson guy but was suitably impressed with the feel of the neck and the tone, and especially the overall lightness. He was quite surprised at how smooth it was. It was also the first HBIIP he had ever had in his hands... not saying he was blown away, but he was very surprised.

What, like this?

That does seem more useful, thanks :)

Hi all, Just saying hi, I am new here, but not entirely new to PRS, as I have an SE Silver Sky since early ´23, which I "kind of" like, and was looking for a 2nd PRS in LP Style, I bumped into my 2nd PRS yesterday.
It´s an S2 Mccarty singlecut in faded blue smokeburst. What a good looking and smooth playing guitar this is! Super sustain, crazy comfortable neck (for me), and what a tone, it really sings!

Have fun you all with your PRS´s!

Yo Yo Yo Flo!

Moon's not kidding, you won’t know it's happened until you suddenly start looking to expand your space....
Haha thanks guys, buying gear is relatively easy, but gaining skills is another thing. Now that I have the S2 which is really a decent instrument, I will be able to learn faster and be inspired faster. So much to explore now!
