Introduce yourself!

Hello

New here and to PRS. I did pick up a floyd SE custom 24. Love the quality of the guitar.

I AM LEFT HANDED. I also play my guitar left handed due to an injury on my left hand that would prevent me from fretting on a right handed guitar. I will say that it is sad to see such a cool guitar company treat left handers like a plague and not make some of their desired guitars for lefties. I believe lefties would love to see a Silver Sky and a Dead Spec guitar in left handed.

I do hope PRS rethinks the way they think about lefties. I am human too!

thanks for the rant.

Welcome Coastkid! Would love to see some pix of your SE CU24!! As for why there are only X lefty guitars from PRS (and other manufacturers), it is just a business decision I am sure (not a condition of thinking you are not human). They make what sells well like any business would!!!

I know they are just doing business. I am just sad there isnt a lefty Sky for me to try.

Well that escalated quickly :)

Just got the Custom SE 24 08 today and so far LOVE the sound difference to the 245

Welcome Coastkid and deathworlder!
I likely would have been fully "southpaw" but my parents broke me of most of it when I was very young. I still throw left handed, and I'm left dominant but I have adjusted to most things reserved for right handed humans. On the bright side, there are more and more left handed people in many walks of life.

Hello!
I don't know why it took me so long to join this forum. I own two fine PRS guitars, core CU24 and a MIK SE CU24. Glad I finally joined this place!
Glad you found the place! So many very knowledgeable people here (I don't mean me) to glean great information from.
Might be just me, but I can't call up those pics to drool over...:(

I've reviewed the "HOW TO POST PIC" but I think I'm still doing it wrong. I want to post without the imgur logo. By the way, is that a McCarty Hollowbody or Hollowbody in your profile pic?

I'm looking at buying a McCarty 594 Hollowbody but Collings I-35 is also very tempting.
I love my Hollowbody! I've had a couple quirks with it, but I always manage to resolve them. Just so doggone versatile and so super smooth playing. Mind you, smooth's a PRS trait on every one I've played. which isn't that many given I've only been a PRS fan for 4 years. But the first one I picked up just rang my bell totally. I'm hooked and I don't mind saying so.
