Introduce yourself!

Hello, Everyone!

Bluesy Gnoll here: real name’s Jeff.

From NYC originally: born and raised in Flushing, Queens….went to college upstate, moved to Osaka Japan, been here 30 years just this past July.

Bought far too many guitars and am amazed I am not sleeping in the street!

But before the GAS disease hit….my first high end electric guitar was this.

Bought a Singlecut when they’d just come out in the early 2000s: lucky and scored a used near mint yellow one. It had a beautiful 10 top and looks and sound…..it was just….gorgeous. Life happened and I sold it. Never got another PRS and never forgot the glorious…everything. I never wanted to 1/2 step and impulse buy one, out of complete respect.

Am thinking it’s time to come back: feeling a circle come together. Hope you all don’t mind joining and helping me along the way!

All respect!

Hey gang glad to be here. Finally decided to join the PRS family. I've been playing for roughly 35yrs. Started with metal stuff and eventually learned appreciate just about everything really. I've been playing mostly LP style guitars for years. Several Gibby's, a few MIJ copies as well as a couple of strats, tele, etc. Really wasn't thinking of buying another guitar but the PRS design and popularity has always intrigued me. Being used to the style of my LP, I thought id give the McCarty SE a try and I love it. I do however plan on making a couple changes. That's a story for a different post. Anyway, picked this up on Reverb the other day and I'm really impressed with the build quality of the SE. Any way, glad to be aboard! Here's new girl..

Hi: that is NICE!!!

Hey all, also a newbie here :)

I'm Alex, 48 years old and i live close by Rotterdam in The Netherlands.
I started playing guitar when i was around 15. I took lessons for a couple of years, but then life happened and did not really play for a long time.
Never sold my old guitars though (Epiphone Les Paul and a Yamaha APX500), they are still living with me.

But about 2 years ago I met someone from who works for PRS in Europe and we had a really nice talk about guitarstuff, playing, music, etc.
So i then got a SE Custom 24 Floyd and it got me hooked again. I contacted my old guitar teacher and up to today i still see him every week for lessons.
In the meantime i also bought a SE McCarty 594 singlecut and i love both my PRS's equally.
Unfortunately i am not that talented when it comes to playing guitar, but it is fun to me, which is the most important of course.

Hopefully i'll be able to join you all in some nice discussions etc. in the future :)
