Introduce yourself!

Hello groovy people. Bought my first PRS in 1988. Second in 1991. Both of those were victims of a huge chemo-therapy bill. Just purchased a PRS SE Custom 24.
Back in '88, before the net, I sent a handwritten letter to "THE ULTIMATE CREATOR" asking how the wing nut locking tuners worked. Ended the letters with " May God bless the PRS company". Am so glad to see that prayer answered.

hello everyone, just a PRS SE Custom owner here...but loving the PRS /Korean made quality. as i understand it all SE's get QC'd back in Stevensville? my year of mfg is 2019 i'm guessing with the T serial #....

Looking forward to gaining mucho PRS knowledge from everyone here :) :) and contributing where i am able... :)

:) Thank you DISTORT6!. I plan on it. Much info to be gained here. I've had 3 core models,,,never could bond with them(should have kept the old McCarty though), and I have a Vela(2015), and a PRS SE Standard, which I like very much. Vela would suit me with a different pickup(bridge). I would love to get my hands on a Standard 22 Stoptail.

It seems I have to have photos residing on some photo app in order to put them here. It asks me for a link. I'm used to being able to drag and drop right out of my Photos, on my Mac, into some chats, Telegram and Skype. That would be fine, except I haven't one of those. Will have to set one up, I guess.

So the way this works is, PRS does not want to "host" your photos. As a result, you must use a third party service to host the pix, then put the link in. Imgur is popular with many forumites, and several tutorials have been done on this to help people through the process. Here is a link to the tutorial I did and this post also has links to the other tutorials I am aware of here on the forum:

https://forums.prsguitars.com/threads/sharing-pictures-on-prs-forum.47818/

Note a couple of things about this:
1. The image link must end in a image file format extension like .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, etc.
2. It must be hosted on a secure site. In other words, it has to be a https url, NOT a http url.

PM me if you have any questions after reviewing the tutorial material.
