Introduce yourself!

Hello all. Long-time lurker, first time poster. My first PRS was a circa 2008 SE Singlecut, which ended up replacing my Les Paul Studio. Soon after, I acquired a 1998 Swamp Ash Special, and later on a 2011 Custom 24. The SE has moved on to a new home, and I'm hoping to pick up either a Custom 22 or a McCarty 594 at some point, if the right guitar comes along. Thanks for having such a great and knowledgeable community for all of us PRS owners.

Hi, Alex,

Looking forward to your posts and video soon!

Hey I'm Andy and I'm from Canada.

I'm a long time PRS user. Got my first PRS (1998 CE24), then graduated to a beautiful Black Cherry custom 24 that I played lovingly for 13 years. I stupidly traded it in a few years ago then went into a spiral of buying several "wrong for me" guitars. I've also gone through a studio, and KL380 (both were great).

Fast forward a few years later, and found a gorgeous SC245 (in my avatar) that I bought on the spot. Just as good as my old custom, though quite different in sound. Feel is perfect.

Anyway, only buying PRS from here on for electrics as nothing else works for me as well.

Right now on my to buy list in the next few years:

MT-15 (tried it the other day...absolutely killer)
Archon (maybe)
Perhaps another CU24...for nostalgia
Paul's guitar (drool)

Hey Andy, welcome.

Hey !
Recetly I've discovered that PRS has an official forum :) ! I've been using PRS CU24 from 2009 for 2 years now and this is my favorite guitar, it just inspires me to write more music ! Right now I'm bedroom warrior but I post my music on my YT channel !
Thank's for having me here !

It's only polite to introduce ones self

And so I will.
I'll leave the name and job stuff for the sig.
I bought my first PRS used in 1988 or so, a Std24. I had heard of these, and got lucky enough to find one. Wish I still had it, but I sold it to buy a Super 400...
I play Klein guitars a lot. I have three. I know Lorenzo German pretty well. (Please, if you're one of his former customers, don't ask me to help you get your guitar that you ordered way back there, I have one on order too.). I try to keep my GAS disease under control, but guitars are tax write offs for me, so it's pretty easy to justify them.
After years of looking at them again, I bought a Hollowbody Spruce from Brian Meader when he was still at Washington Music Center near DC, three years ago. Then I bought a Studio from him last year. I love that too. It sounds different, and I like that. I want a P22.
I play jazz. Not much rock and roll. But I do like to get a variety of sounds from a guitar, and these do it.
I really admire PRSh's drive to make a really good instrument. I've never met him, but I'd like to. He seems to be just a bit obsessed about making things as good as he can, and I really like that.
My job is in the Maritime provinces of Canada, and there's not much available. I'd like to try one of the new amps, but there aren't any near me there.
Guitars are more fun than just about anything else.
I'm in.
Welcome to the Forum guys :hello:

New to playing a guitar; new to PRS having just purchased an SE Custom 24 in Trampas Green ( <= ). Matching it with a Boss Katana 50. Can only say that I feel like a kid getting behind the wheel of their first car (will concede those days are long past!). Can't provide a discriminating opinion: I just know it feels and looks cool and that I want to drive it all day & night.

And I like the birds.
