Where is that speedo pic
Ok. I've been thinking about this a lot here lately.
I HAD two guitars with push pulls on vol and tone pots. I like these options BUT I have a suspicion.
Pickups I've had in my McCarty with 3 way toggle don't sound the same as with dual push pulls. I just recently went back to rotary on my ce24 that HAD dual push pulls.
Is there a reason Paul went with rotary switch early on that might be related to this theory?
Does rotary switch do the best job of preserving a pickups original tone?
Is there a reason 408 has two mini toggles instead of dual push pulls??
My McCarty has the dual push pulls but it was done at prs factory so I'm going to leave it be. But this sure makes me wonder???
