Installing coil splits in Custom 24

Custom 24 w/ 5 way blade and 85/15s.

Is there a way to either;

A) Install a push-pull coil split, like on a McCarty, or

B) Modify either the 2 or the 4 position so that it's neck single coil only?

I'd like something that's minimally invasive (i.e., no drilling new holes in the top).

I had PTC do this mod on my Custom 24 and my P22. With the push-pull down, the 5 way works the same way it does normally. With the push-pull up, positions 1 and 5 give you bridge single coil only and neck single coil only.

A you can do with a three-way blade and a push-pull. Same options as the McCarty.

B can be achieved easily with wire cutters to make position 4 neck-only.


I came up with a best of both worlds setup that gives the same options I get on my 594.
