Guys,

Love my SC250 and use the bridge tone pot a lot to darken the bridge pickup. Works well.
Are these custom PRS pots?
I don't think I use the bridge volume as much but I like to shape the tone with the tone pot.
I do use both however, just the tone pot is key.
That said, if I was going to split the bridge SC250, what do you guys suggest, to use the volume pot which I believe is closest got the bridge? I forget now.
Will. It not work as well as a regular pot?
I coild always go back to stock.
What would you do?
I love that with the 5 way rotary on my CE22 middle position I get great almost single coil tones but it's loud.
I'm worried on my SC250 in split mode, the pickup will be so much quiet, although I will om one it with the neck Pickup so that may help volume.
Thoughts?

Push-pull pots are available in audio taper style to work in the volume position. I installed one in my SE277 baritone to split the pickups separately. There will be some volume drop, but you can put a resistor on the coil split wire to reduce it somewhat if it bothers you. I don't remember the resistor value PRS uses for this purpose.

I just dropped it off at my techs house and no idea what type of pot he'll use. I just told him I want to split the bridge bucker. I rarely roll that volume down except to turn it off. I do however use the rhe tone pot a lot.

Hey guys,
I find myself using the various positions of the 5-way rotary of my CE22, especially the middle position.
Unfortunately my SC250 only has a 4 conductor bridge position while the neck pickup is 2 conductor. I split the bridge so that I could use the bridge and neck together for clean tones. I'm wondering if it would have made more sense to get a 4 conductor neck pickup and split that? I may add a 4 conductor neck pickup and have both split.
