I did a few mods to mine as well and I really love this guitar, especially the wide/thin neck!

Guys those are both awesome looking guitars!! I love modding guitars so I fully appreciate the time and courage it takes to just jump into these things head on. Always good when it turns out as expected!

Question for you Michael, I recently posted a thread about new Phase II's I installed on an '04 Custom. I've since gotten somewhat used to them, and they work., but performance wise is worlds apart from the original Phase II's they replaced (now on an SE).

How do yours feel? Are they comparable to other Phase II's of yours? It's just funny because I have 3 sets of Phase II's, and the newer they are, the worse they feel. I'm hoping it's due to break in from use.

Hey guys...just another update to the mods, ordered PRS knobs and PRS pots and had a Tremonti treble installed. The guitar is awesome!! almost plays as nice as my usa Tremont!! here's a few pics...

Carefully!!!! lol I put the outer 2 screws on first and made sure they had the groove...then made the other 4 the same height

I have a Tremonti SE Custom too. LOVE IT!
But...isn't that gray black and not purple??
My wife bought mine for me. She doesn't like SCs. Thinks they look country (roll eyes).
Anyway...the store where we bought it has electrics upstairs. Evidently the lighting isn't great up there.
I knew she wasn't loving the guitar but when we got to the counter downstairs she goes...OH...it's BLACK!!! Well that's better. I thought it was GREEN!!! Ewwwww. Well I kinda like it NOW she says. lol

I can see the purple hue thing...and I bet..or guess that in a few years with some fade theey might look a little "washed-out" and start looking even more purple...but they do have actual purple Tremonti SE Customs...maybe only in the UK, but they ARE PURPLE. Not purple, not purplish but PURPLE. Purple?? man that's a weird word.
Anyway yeah...I THINK these 2 are gray black like mine?
