My father in-law passed away and left me one of his guitars. I must admit I do not know much about electric guitars since up to know I have only owned and played acoustic. I have looked all over the web trying to find anything I can but have not had luck. Does anyone know more about this PRS and any of its specs?

I would love to know more about it as I begin to learn to play it.

Sorry to hear about your father in law...

Bangin'! guitar though, it's a PRS EG II model with Fralin "Domino" pickups, an alder body, and some cool pickup combinations.

Thank you so much for the quick response, googled it and found the same model in other colors but this, is it just simply gold? Or does PRS have a cooler name for its color?

I think "gold" works. That is a great guitar for beginners. Not terribly expensive. It ought to play well. The last one of those I saw online has a Budweiser wrap around it.

Just to clarify, that's a US-built PRS EG II, not an import SE-EG. It has decent value. Sorry about your Father in Law but congrats on the guitar.

lucky dog. when people pass away in my family, they usually just leave ass-aches and bills!

I'm sorry for your loss. He left you a cool guitar. The two coolest features: It's a PRS, and it's GOLD!!!
