Bricel24...Love hate relationship with gold hardware. Looks great, wears like crap! So chrome it was. I had to pull the trigger knowing that korina and Brazilian upgrades may be much more scarce or a thing of the past someday. Do it man!

Congratulations Korina, I bought mine a couple weeks back because like you I had read someone's post about Korina McCarty's with Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboards. I spent days going back forth on Dave's site before I pulled the trigger. The Funny thing was that on the very day I was going to call and place my order, the one I was looking at for the past several days had just sold and was no longer showing up on the site. I really felt bummed out and disappointed, and thought I had missed out. But the following morning I felt compelled to look again and sure enough there was another one with a icon that said "New Listing". I actually loved the grain on this "New Listing" and I called immediately and placed my order. I told Justin my story about being disappointed and he told that when one sells they post up another one. So I don't know how many they have, but my point is not how many they have, but simply if other's are feeling the same attachment to this guitar as us, there still may be hope for you to obtain one in Chrome or Gold. Sorry if this feeds into anyone's GAS.

I was also looking into a korina PRS from Dave's, but korina has a slightly thinner midrange then mahogany, so I finally decided against it, BUT, those are beautiful guitars! Can you say "SPIFFY"?
Enjoy it.
