I received the guitar last Wednesday and am delighted with it. It inspires me to play. I’m working on a new song since I got the guitar. I love the way it plays, feels, and sounds. It’s my first semi-hollow body guitar. I have 2 other DGT core guitars and a DGT SE. I like all of them. The semi-hollow guitar is a little darker in tone and more resonant acoustically. It weighs 7 lbs 2 oz which is around a pound lighter than the other DGTs.

Yes, I have an affinity for DGTs. After years of chasing Les Pauls and being disappointed by them I found something that works for me. I still have a 10 lb 76 Les Paul. The First DGT I got was an SE. I noticed I hardly ever played the Les Paul after getting that SE. It’s a much better playing guitar for me. I think the DGT gives me what I was looking for but never found in the Les Paul guitars. I’m not looking back!

In addition to the DGTs I have a PRS Studio, SC 594, and NF53. The semi-hollow compliments the other guitars. It’s definitely a keeper.
