So I waited patiently to unbox the new axe. The seller said that he played it maybe a total of 10 hrs since purchased and always went back in the case. He must have been playing with gloves and a padded suit because this guitar is pristine. Came set up with 9's, and though I'm a10's guy, it sounds phenomenal and gives it a different tone than my others, particularly the 408 that I have with 10's. Looks a bit more tabacoey in person, will love for long time.
