My current members of the McCarty family are the McCarty Singlecut PS and the DGT (which is basically a Grissom-spec'd McCarty).

They're at the heart of my little handful of guitars.

Speaking of "little handfuls" my niece asked me over the weekend if I could record her 12 year old daughter who'd written a song - quite a good one, btw. I said sure, what's she going to play?

My niece said she'd play piano and guitar. I asked if she had her own guitars with her (they're from out of town). My neice said, sure, in fact she has 5 guitars. 5! Age 12!

I said it's the exact number of guitars I have after being at this work for a lifetime. Somehow I managed to restrain myself from asking why on earth a 12 year old kid needs 5 guitars.

What kind of guitars?? Does have a PRS private stock yet? Come on uncle Les buy her one!!!
 
My semi-hollow 594, is in my avatar pic…it’s fabulous! I miss my 2008 Ted so much..that’s the one that got away! I was going through a major G.A.S time, and made a very regrettable decision on that one. I’m thinking of restarting the hunt for another Ted, after seeing one again!
