I've bought and like some of the Ownhammer 4x12 and 2x12 IRs with my Axe-FX III. I find it hard to recommend any specific IRs since there are SO many available, and lots of hundreds come in many of the packs. I find it really difficult to even scratch the surface.

I did back when I had a helix. However, I actually made my own with my amps using different mic placements on the speakers. It was a fun project that yielded maybe 5 or so of the 54+ I made remotely useful.

I did find some really interesting IRs of acoustic instruments that really opened up the piezo pickup guitars but I can't remember where I found those or the name of them.

I can but I only use the stock ones in the Kemper.
Some say the Celestion ones are good.
I have heard that. Most of the IR's I have come across were good but few have been absolutely great. I guess a lot of that depends on what you are looking for and want/need.

How do you like your Kemper?

True! It could potentially take countless hours upon hours to really go through all that are out there in these packs and really give them a fair go.

Godsend for a gig or home player.
Light, versatile, and dependable.
I have one at the studio/practice space, and one at home.
I LOVE my amps.

I got sucked into the IR rabbit hole when I was trying Helix out and really despised the time wasted trying to find something I'd like and then trying to something I'd like a little bit more, ect. The IRs I was trying out were Celestion and Ownhammer. I ditched both the Helix and IRs after 3 days.

You don't mess around do ya?!

The best IR's I have found hands down without question are the EAS IR's from EAS studios. They just simply work and without any fuss or EQ necessary. I don't know how they did it but these folks got it right. If you are looking for some clean and compensated IR's theirs are fantastic!

I got the Ownhammer and Celestion IRs to use with load boxes. Both work when I need to do that. The Celestion IRs surprised me. I expected something cheesy, but they sounded good.

Then again, they make speakers for most of the guitar universe, so I don't know why I expected cheesiness.

The only IR's I've tried are the ones included with some patches I bought from Worship Tutorials. Right off the bat I liked them much better than the stock cabs that came with my Pod Go. Had more of a realistic depth than the stock cabs. But so far it's only been 1X12 and 2X12's.

But I wouldn't mind trying some others. Kinda curious if a 4X12 IR would make much of a difference.

I didn't see them mentioned yet so I will mention them. I bought some York Audio IRs. I have a Kemper and a Fractal FM9. These IRs get a ton of press in those communities, more in the Fractal community. I bought a few packs of them when they were on sale during the black friday sales last year. I like them enough that I don't see me buying any more from anyone else.

I also found some free acoustic IRs that I put in my FM9. I set up a patch to run my P22 guitars where I run the piezo to a second input and give it a separate signal chain them merge it in to one output at the end. It works well and the acoustic parts sound like they should.

EDIT: I was going to post a link and forgot to. Sorry! Here it is.

They have lots of fans at TGP as well. I still haven't tried any of them. Some people just rave about them though.
