I recently sold a Japanese '68 reissue Strat that for decades was my main guitar. I have found myself playing my SE Custom 24 almost exclusively. And, as we all know, money earned selling gear must be used acquiring new gear. So...

A 2018 S2 Satin Standard 24 is on its way to me. This will be my first US made PRS, and I couldn't be more excited. Dave's had a great deal on an excellent condition cherry red S2, and I couldn't resist. I know from my SE Custom that double cut, 24 fret, 25 inch scale guitars are for me.

Nice. I would be very interested in reading a comparison between your new S2 and the SE.

Just like mine (which I love)!
Mine hangs on the wall within reach of my noodling chair.

From the way the light is hitting it, it almost looks like a metallic finish. Nice!
