I'm saving my pennies in the hopes of getting a Private Stock guitar made (well, six of them, but one thing at a time!). I was wondering how much of an impact the wood used has on the cost. As an example, would there be a large price difference between a guitar with a ziricote top and mahogany back & neck, versus one that was ziricote throughout? I would assume some difference, but just wondering if that should significantly affect my planning.

There are additional charges for some woods, but availability and cost vary from time to time. Talk to your dealer when you are getting close and they will navigate you through it. I haven’t found my wood choices made a huge impact on the cost.
