Just for fun i attached an old Fender American standard tremoloblock to a PRS tremoloplate. It didnt work having it resting on the knifeedges on the plate, the block was a tad too big so i got this crazy idea i just had to try Did as Fender recommend for setting up a trem, all springs off, screw all six screws down one by one til bridge tilts and then back til bridge lays flat against the body.Finished with the tremol-no for zero movement.I know, crazy but im very happy with the sound and the totally blocked trem.Of course saddles have to be raised but it works.Just one thing,i just wanted to share, dont try this at home kids if you have no experience with the PRS tremolo system.
