if there is a rosewood-veneer on the heastock - does it need oil/care too?

As the title say: if a guitar has a rosewood veneer on the headstock do you oil/clean/seal that too?

Same as the fretboard?

Any opinion/tipp welcome.

I never have put anything on the headstock veneer. I’ve had my oldest for over 20 years.

You risk loosing the decal if you over saturate the headstock veneer with conditioner.

I'm with everyone else.

Heck, it's very rare that I even use anything on my fretboard, maybe once a year a good cleaning with lemon oil to remove the gunk, then wipe it off.
