Identifying the neck type

I have an all mahogany PRS I picked up ages ago. Serial #837050. Dark purple. Wouldn't sell it for any amount of money due to the tone and how fast the neck is. Recently bought a new S2 McCarty thinline with the thin neck profile and was not happy to see just how different the necks feel. So I'm to determine what style of neck is on my original one.

There's a modcat number under the pickup that you can put into a modcat decoder to pull full specs. Or email PRS your serial.

24 fret it was either Regular/Standard or Wide Thin.

22 fret it was either Wide Fat or Wide Thin.

Based On Your Like/Dislike Description I Am Guessing The Purple Guitar Is A Wide Fat Neck.

Mesure the nut width , 1" 11/16th is wide thin , 1" 21/32 Reg , Pattern Regular ( some call it 1" 5/8s )

That's the nut width. It's not all that wide. It's PRS wider nut width. As suggested above, measure your nut width.

They didn’t tell you which neck it was? It’s either the Standard or the Wide Thin, the Wide Thin is basically the same as the neck on the McCarty Thinline, so sounds like you have the Standard neck on your Standard. Which is basically the same as the current Pattern Regular neck.

I'm a thumb over the bottom E string guy. Small hands. Not comfortable doing that on the McCarty's wide thin. So my '98 must be a standard. I ask about what neck type but haven't heard back yet.
