I saw that Blue Crab Blue guitar a few years ago for sale, and I have been on the search for it ever since. Is it as blue in real life as it is in that picture? I've bought 3 Blue Crab Blue guitars trying to replicate that picture, even bought another Artist V, but none of them ever came close.

Yes indeed! This is an Artist V and it nails the blue crab blue color. Thanks!

What an incredibly interesting and beautiful color! Just faded from natural light? I love it!

yes, it’s seems to have lost its “aqua” over time. In the 2 links below, you can see how much it has changed during the 2 times it was for sale at Brian’s. I bought this from Goof, I am not sure how much of the aqua it still displayed during his ownership. He also posted this guitar in his post on page 2 of this thread. Miss January 2015.

It’s weird how some of PRS’s blue retain their color and others don’t. My CU24 is my post is also the same one in my avatar. It’s has gotten much darker over time. However the DC245 in the post still looks just as vibrant as the day it was built and all the 3 have been in the same room for close to the same amount of time. Natural light, no direct sunlight.
