i have a prs 1990 limited edition.
and i want to buy fender guitar.
strat or tele?
which guitar will you guys choose?

Go play some and you decide. Way better than strangers opinions online when the only correct answer is both.
Exactly this.

I always considered myself a "Strat guy" (really more of a SuperStrat guy... I much prefer humbuckers) and dismissed Telecasters as country and blues guitars, which I totally did not identify with.

Then I was helping one of my brothers shop for a Strat and realized that they sound TERRIBLE in my hands. Truly terrible. Like… strangling a goose terrible.

Then my other brother got a Tele and I was noodling around on it, and realized that it was really much better suited to the sounds in my head and the way I play. Go figure.

Play a bunch of guitars, and buy what you like and what works for you. Nobody on an Internet forum can tell you that part.

Everyone needs a Strat style of some sort.
Get a NF53 if you’re going PRS. (I know, not a Strat)

One of my brothers uses strats mainly and always has. I'm really bad with tremolo guitars though as I've never used a whammy very well and tend to disturb the bridge/trem system when I'm not even meaning to, so the only time I've successfully played decently on his guitars has been when he adjusted the springs from the back to keep it fastened and still. They sound great though, particularly the bridge single coil sound I really enjoy hearing.

I hope you bond with your new chosen instrument.

Between those two, I prefer a Telecaster, but it's a close call. I like the direct attachment of the bridge pickup to the body on a Tele. It's a fatter sounding thing than the plastic pick guard-mounted pickups on a Strat.

That's the main reason.

Neither one is particularly suited to my playing style.

If your on a budget look at the SE NF53 .
Other wise lots of PRS offerings - Silver Sky , Fiore , NF53 , S2 Vela
Sounds like a fun shopping trip
