I took a long break from guitars and the forum but...

Mamas, don’t let your cowboys grow up to be guitar players.

“Why?”

“Slippery slope. Next thing you know, they’ll want to play the accordion.”

“No one want to play the accordion, ever.”

“Why hasn’t anyone told me this? I already started my accordion collection!”

“You haven’t owned an accordion since you were 12.”

“It’s a mental collection. I’ve lusted for them in my heart. I’m holding off on buying until the right ones come along. I don’t want to make the wrong choice and bellow it.”

"Mamas got a squeeze box she wears on her chest and when Daddy comes they don't get no rest..."

Speaking for ‘ol #11, I’d like to see a video of Lester fingering the accordion. Do it, Les!

Staying for months abroad because of governmental order and therefore being separated from those squeeze tools, it's comparable to @CatStrangler digital and guitars diaspora.
And I was separated from my guitars, too. But by order of a third party and not by my own decision.
I wouldn't actively prohibit myself from the things I love. Digital distancing is sometimes good, but playing guitars is meditation and supporting mental health and relaxation.

Welcome back, @CatStrangler! Spend more times with guitars than with this forum.

Can’t do it - I was in AA (Accordions Anonymous), and have been clean and accordion-free since 1963.

OK, there was that one time in Paris when I rented one for a recording session.

But - accordion playing is legal in France!

It's funny, over the past 10 years or so (a few times each year), I hear a song and I think "Wow, that would sound trippy on an accordion", which has made me actually want to buy one to see if I am right! I will torture y'all if it ever happens!! One of the songs that I can remember I want to hear/play on accordion is "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen, I think it would sound fab on a squeeze box!!!

Congrats on the new score CatStrangler!
