I still like the cream colored pickup rings vs. the white ones. Thoughts?

Depends on the guitar
I have white ones on a CU22 thats Blue and a 408 thats frost they look right with the lighter rings
it would be nice to have the cream option in the new recessed style rings

I don't understand why this is a topic of discussion. I like black, I feel no need to flaunt my preference for black, as I have access to black. You, who prefer white have access to white. You, who prefer cream have access to cream. Everyone's happy.

I'm always happy!!!! My brilliant blue colored cu24 had white rings and they looked good against the blue. If it would of had white tuner buttons I may have kept them on there but my rosewood passion took over.

Since its been mentioned, I always thought cream-colored plastic looks, well.... dingy compared to white. So I'm glad my 408 has white pup rings.
That said, context seems to matter. I put cream pups in a Strat that has a white pickguard, and it looks great.

The "white" ones are actually closer to the color of cream, of course, though real cream is whiter. The ones you're calling "cream" are actually much more yellow and are probably intended to look like aged ivory.

All that aside, though I am a stock plastic rings man, I will direct your attention to the fact that the PRS online shop now sells wooden pickup rings in several varieties of wood.
