I have a Tonare that I love. It’s my only acoustic guitar, and it does so many things well. I doubt I’d ever want to replace it.

In my opinion...there is something magical about these early Angelus Customs, with the carbon fiber neck reinforcement rod, like the one you purchased (the one in your first post appears to be a later model with adjustable truss rod). Most of them have Steven Fisher’s name on the internal sticker, as he was working there at the time. You are correct in assuming that they are essentially Private Stock level instruments...and an excellent value for the prices they are now popping up at. Best of luck with it...congratulations.

You nailed it, Tosca. This one has carbon fibre truss rod and Steve Fisher sticker inside.
As LSchefman says, this one is irreplaceable
