Hi guys - I am really enjoying this DC3. The neck shape is perfect. The pickups are really sensitive to height adjustment, but once they are dialed in, the sound is very nice and like a vintage Strat. Give the video a listen if you have time, and let me know what you think. Thank you!

Thank you!! It's my old rig I've had for 22 years. It's a 94 Mesa Tremoverb w/ a Mesa 2-12 cab (EVM12s). That amp has served me well. For effects, I use an early 90's Alesis Quadraverb in the loop. I have a little reverb and delay in a program.

That equipment is working for you! Never heard of a Alesis Quadraverb. Is that like the the TC Hall of Fame?

I am not familiar with the TC unit. As you can tell from my equipment, I don't spend too much time in music stores. The Quadraverb was a early 90's rack mount stereo effects processor that included flang, distortion, reverb, delay and a bunch of other stuff. It has about 100 presets and you can save into memory a bunch more. I just use it for delay and reverb. It does a pretty good job on those. It's been on the same program for a decade or more.

I agree that both the DC3 and NF3 are underrated. I also bought a NF3. John Mann Guitars gave me a smoking deal on both which were NOS. He had them in his inventory for 4 years unsold.

If I were a strat player any more, I would be all over that DC-3! The playing was great, flowing, and soulful a well.
