The guitar keeps going out of tune! I set up some of my Strats with regular tremolos and they don't go out of tune! The PRS keeps going sharp on the E A D and G strings. I also can't get a low action as my Les Paul!

The PRS sound incredible and I love the pick ups! I do a lot of recording for TV and I need a guitar that stays in tune!:iamconfused:

A good setup will fix all that.

If you're doing work for TV (I do as well) it will be a very worthwhile investment in your work to send the guitar to the PTC for a setup. They set up guitars for their endorsers, and the setups are absolutely amazing, incredible, and every other good adjective I can think of.

I realize you just bought the guitar and yada yada, but trust me on this. We are talking rock star setup of the gods with the PTC, not merely "factory spec." They replace the nut (sounds like yours might be binding a little), and set the action to your requirements.

The action on my guitar that they set up is very low, and it plays wonderfully. It's really a special setup.

+1 on PTC setups, Skitchy @ the PRS PTC did the setup on my 408 AP in drop-C with .011's and that thing plays fantastic! :D

Lenny recently hooked me up big time at a PRS Fan Fay. One of the guitars he worked on was my Charcoal Cherry. Drop C with Elixir 11's. PTC all the way.

I found all my new PRSi need a bit of breakin time mine were spot on after my first string change.
BUT the set up from PTC is a great idea also

It sounds like the strings are pinching in the nut. Without detuning the guitar, pull each string up and out of the nut slot. The string should exit the slot smoothly without binding or pinching. Widening the slots with nut slot files, sandpaper or an exacto knife should solve the problem and will need to be done especially if the string gauge has been changed.
