...what's the difference of a PRS 2012 versus PRS 2013? Specifically a SE Nick Catanese model. Also how thick is the "thick cut" versus standard. Are the Tremonti's thick cut also? Thanks to all!

I don't believe the SE Nick Catanese had any changes between 2012 and 2013. But prior to 2012 (I think), it had a black finish with red binding and a few other aesthetic differences. Now it comes in scarlet red with a flame maple veneer. The Tremonti SE Custom has a really thick body, while the older version Tremonti SE has a thinner body (you can see a picture of both in my signature below). I believe the Nick Catanese has a fairly thick body.

As far as "how thick" they are... My Tremonti Custom is very heavy. Because the SEs aren't as heavily carved, it is thicker than my Maryland-Made Tremonti.

I scoped out an SE Nick Catanese today at a GC and liked it. Felt solid and I liked it a lot. It was the new red one.
