Horrible seller pic (and likely contributor to why it was had at an irresistible price):
I was granted reprieve from The Look when I explained there will be a death match between this and my SE Soapbar II. I also just got a line on a set of vintage Bill Lawrence mini hums that may be the saving grace of the Soapbar, assuming they're not too deep for the pickup routs.

I dunno man, I think I need to lay off the eBays. There are so many SE deals. They seem innocent enough, but next thing you know you have like half a dozen of 'em laying around and you're drinking fruity alcoholic drinks like some sort of deviant! I've already caught myself eying Singlecut SEs and Tremonti SEs, and I'm not even into Singlecuts! If an SE One comes along at the right price, ooooh I'm in trouble.

Oh, this I have known from the start.
And The Look is much more about the ire and disapproval shooting from her eyes like lasers, making you immediately blurt, "Wait! I can explain!"

I have realized its easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for persmission. And i usually just pull the old trick that women pull with dresses "oh i have had this one for a while just in the back of the closet, don't you remember?"

I love my early Santana SE. It's been here in my office the last few weeks and I have very much enjoyed playing it. I have the second gen one with the pickguard, but if I was to have my own deathmatch, it would be a 1st gen, in black, with a trem, exactly like yours. In fact, let me know if that badazz mofo doesn't win any death matches.
