I have a PRS SE Santana...I need a shorter Low E saddle

I know the SE is a cheaper model, kind of like a Fender Squire.

I see a lot of posts about saddle screws...but I need a shorter saddle.

My SE is in decent shape neck and nut wise, but:
I cannot move the Low E saddle back any further and the fretted 12th is still sharp.
I've got the spring off, of course!

Having your low E intonation out is a terrible playing situation with higher gain.

Does anyone know a shorter saddle source?

I'd grind it down, but I don't have my grinder anymore and the threads.

Thanks to any tips from Stew Mac / Amazon or anywhere.

All the Very Best to my fellow PRS'rs! :)

Haven't dealt with this myself, but in the past similar situations, others have mentioned you might have gone past the point you're shooting for. Try bringing it much closer and slowly working back again, you might find the sweet spot without having to modify or replace anything. Worth a shot?

Use a good fresh set of strings. Make sure you have the bridge set up right (height and in line with the strings). If nothing works you could try to lower the E string a little.

I think I’d find a buddy with a grinder or dremel tool. After grinding, you should be able to run the screw into it to open it up.
