I have a 2004 prs with an "AS" stamped on the back of the headstock. What is that?

Does anyone know what an "AS" pressed into the wood on the back of the headstock means? My gutar is creme colored and the factory painted over these letters. You can still see it and feel it from its depresion. I thought, maybe, Acceptable second, but have no idea. Thanks, Eric.

Sounds like Artist Stock (which is a very good thing).

Yank the pups and photograph what you find in the cavities. Please let us know.

Yup, Artist Stock. These were guitar made for the PRS Artist Loaner program...

It has "Delveccio" written in sharpie on the top of the, back side, of the neck pickup. The bottom has "Torsh-" or "Torse-" written in fine line blue marker. Any ideas as to who the artist would have been? The PRS artist list has nobody with that name on it. Thanks, Eric.
