I'm sorry but I agree with him, they don't build CEs like they did in the 90's, they would have to cost almost as much as a custom if they still built them that way, which is what makes a 90's CE desirable. Paul said it himself in one of the 594 videos. He is not only competing with "new" fenders and gibbys but the whole vintage market too and since he's been around for over 30 years now he has to contend with his own classics. I would buy an old CE before a new one but I would buy a new 594 before I'd buy an old LP.

Price is too steep for my blood. However, I like the top and the honest wear. Not so much a fan of the back color at all.....but if the price was right, it could find a home with my CEs.
