I did not expect this response...

Modern Apizza in New Haven is up there - excellent. New Haven is pretty much the epicenter of CT Pizza, it's hard to go wrong with any place that can remain in business there since the competition is fierce from Frank Pepe's and Sally's.

all of them are banging. Expensive as hell for a pie but you get your money's worth for sure! Pepe's is so popular that is branching out across the state. A good clam casino pie is always divine

I used to deliver pizzas back in the day....one guy would order a large clams casino but when we'd show up at his house, he'd be passed out on the couch. When we'd bring the pizza back to the shop after ringing his doorbell and knocking umpteen times, he'd have woken up and wondered where his pizza was an hour 10 minutes later. Ya just couldn't win in that situation.

Let's face it, everything in CT is expensive. It's a large part of the reason I now live in Northern Kentucky.

I don’t blame you for bailing.

Craig's List is so full of trolls and people that "drunk type" I think. We have an ad out for a female co-lead singer- and the responses have been ( except for one) a total joke. People who haven't been in bands, don't have audio/video and ***** at us when we ask- WTF?!?!- or ghosting!
On the plus side, we're looking for a new bass player and the responses have been awesome- so ya never know!

Wish I knew, Hc, just trying to do my job, but all I use is a "small brush." You need something larger, um, I'm sure there are folks who do the job better than I can.
Just watch the Adam Sandler version of The Longest Yard. This is pretty much “required viewing” IMHO, of course.

And trust me, it was a joke. The only “group” I’m interested in hugging in the shower is my wife. So, you know, it’s only a dream in my world, 363 days a year or so.

It's one of those movies that I'll stop and watch any time I see it's on.
Exactly. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched parts of it, while flipping channels or waiting for something else to come on. But put them all together and I’ve seen it at least 25 times

Hc,

I know you like old cult classic movies and can quote with the best of them. I own a small bookcase full of DVDs that are mostly adventure, oldies, some comedy, some concert footage, and some music instructional videos.

Although Sandler was after my time growing up, the only reason I don't watch Sandler is because every time one of his movies is showcased on TV, the local OTA news brings up the Sandy Hook shooting massacre. Kind of spoils why we watch Sandler's movies. I know it's weird but our local news and OTA broadcasts are a different beast. Quickly seeing that they are just emptying my gas tank most of the time. I really don't enjoy watching TV much anyone, and would gladly watch my DVDs or PBS.

Or, simply do my job and study/practice when time allows. As much as it pains me, I know that our local 10 PM news is notorious for distorting the truth to suit its own agenda. Somewhat tired of feeling used and being played for a fish, hook, line and sinker.

You might as well, but Adam Sandler has as much influence on me as a McDonald's McRib sandwich.

I apparently offended everyone on the FB PRS Owners World Wide room when I made a comment about what Orianthi was wearing in a picture that was posted. I don't think anyone who was triggered was over the age of 25. I gave them an hour to squawk and scream about nothing, then withdrew my membership from the page.
I also am a member of that page but I'm about to leave myself simply because it's over saturated with the biggest collection of butthurt snowflakes lately.
