This is my problem. I've playing strat 9 years from now. I got my Fender Stratocaster MIJ 94' 3 years ago, and still, i need a lot of stuff to keep it in tune. An year ago, i got a PRS SE Custom 24, and i LOVE it, seriously, it sounds great, it plays lovely and it always stays in tune for hours! And i did not change a single thing on it (in the strat i had to change the bridge, among other things). I checked for the PRS 305, and is awesome, but i can't afford it, i have no chance. I also tried a PRS SE EG from an acquaintance, and i loved it, problem was, it wasnt for sale and PRS is not making them anymore. My only question is: does anyone know if PRS is gonna make them again? Or at least, some strat-like guitar model? So, what do u think? does anyone here also want a 3 single-coil PRS SE model? =D

Between now and the time you get your wish, I've seen several used 305's for $1200. I got mine for $925.

Also... you can usually find S-S-S configured EG's for around $800.

Welcome to the Official PRS Forum!

There are two 305's on eBay right now for far less.

Then there are the SE EG's like this one. Easy to find.

I'd keep the search going for a 305, DC3, EG or even an NF3 and see if it scratched your itch before I'd be inclined to beg for a new SE model... Don't get me wrong, I love the SE line and think they are great guitars, I just seem to be drawn more these days to the SE guitars that don't really have a Maryland Made counterpart....

wish they'd put out an SE 305, i prefer PRS without pickguards. I wouldn't mind having regular singlecoils with visible pole pieces though, the 305 pickups looked too "active" for me :/

Send your 305 or 513 to the PTC and get the Hot Rod Mod.

 no one would have ever said that to any other guitarists upon seeing their guitar, but that's some sick pole pieces (or rails) there!

I'd prefer a SE 513 and the pickup combinations it provides. If I'm going to dream, i might as well dream of having all the options

how's about even deeper...a custom 24 SE Studio version with s-s-h config. I do really like the NF pick-ups... new project?

Theres an eg on ebay in the uk.

Well, im from Argentina, and the thing here is that the american made PRS is way out of the price i'm able to pay, even an old 305 model is way to expensive for me. I can really make some use to a 3 single coil SE model, cuz of the price, and the quality as well, there are no better options, i tried all the options around (here at my country), and the main options are: mexican strat or chinese G&L... no one convince me. Honestly, i think im gonna wait until i have some other option from the SE line because that's the only guitar that worth the price.
