If I don't remember your name at the Experience...

You'll soon know what a girl feels like when we stare at their chest. I have such a bad memory with names. I'll know your face, I'll know we've met, but I've always sucked at keeping screen/real names straight and I'll be staring at your name tag to figure out who you are...

People like Hans amaze me. He'll rattle off names like a phone book, and half the time I don't know who he's talking about... I just suck at remembering names. Always have, always will...

Ron...

Ha, me too. Especially many of the people I met at experience last year, I mean it was my 1st time at PRS! :dontknow:

Haha! Had this problem at my 25 year high school reunion. Saw tons of people I didn't recognize. Problem was, they all knew me. Awkward. They said I hadn't changed a bit. Dammit! I know I had hair back then. BASTIDS!

My wife and I were once out and about, and she stopped to talk to a woman I sort of recognized, but I couldn't remember her name.

When she stopped talking and we walked on, I said, "Who was that?"

"That was your cousin," she replied.

And it wasn't age. I was 30 at the time.

Nice.

I spent 3 years as a Senior Staff SRA on a college campus. It helped me build habits to remember names.

I don't use names much anymore. Use 'bud', 'buddy', 'man', 'dude' and 'crazy son of a...'. Takes the pressure off until I remember their real name (or the person next to me uses their name).

That's because I actually use "The Name Thread" to help keep up. Like Kerry (Boogie), who I actually know, I use "Bud, dude, man, etc" until I can remember.

Still trying to figure out who that guy is that always shows up wearing shorts, loafers, and white socks. ;)

"Kid" is my go-to.

Or a fake accent.

But I'm glad it's not just me...

Well...when I work at my pt job (sellings PRSi), I remember everyone by their favorite guitar(s)..."oh, thats the Custom 24 guy, or McCarty guy, et...just know that we are family when in Stevensville...like my big fat Greek wedding, only different!! I put my name on my bag to make it easier for those that are forgetful...because I am soooo the same way!
