I’d buy this as a core model… in a heart beat (but without divots)

Very elegant instrument by @IshGuitars
Already been shown in PrivateStockFriday thread...

I have no need for another guitar, and especially wasn't looking for something like this, but this is so elegant and sleek, I wish Paul would start a core model like this. Or at least do a limited run.

Simpler or no binding, core outline birds, no headstock binding would make it a regular core neck.
No need for flame top, but yes scraped/faux binding please.
Body-wise it's just routed hollow under the maple.
Skip the pickup routs, tweek the CNC to skip divots, so this could easily be a limited run.

@IshGuitars? Limited Run? Yes? You could sign me up for one right away (in the 3-4K range).

I like both this and the first one (white), but I wish the divots were used in a different pattern! I can imagine several ways were both large and small divots could create a really cool looking top!! In both of these situations, it simply looks to me like the job is not finished (ran out of pots maybe)!!!

yea, but with or without divots ;)
With this matte black one, definitely no divots. With the white one… If it’s a player, definitely no divots. But if it’s an art piece to hang on a wall, the divots add to the artsy look to it.
