hey everyone , has anyone used any of the Humbuckers sized single coils ? Im looking to put one in the neck position of one of my custom 22s , I have a Kotzen tele and like the sound off the neck pickup but sometimes the giant neck is too much to play. I was looking on maybe getting a cone version plate and maybe trying the twang king in the neck of the cu22 . I did see there is a few companies that make pickups like this but before I bought one I wanted to see if anyone here has used one. thanks

I put a set of these Lollar Single for Hum in a 2003 CE24. Loved them. This video sold me.

If you like p90s, look at the bareknuckle range. I love the mississippi queen hb size p90

You could get the @sergiodeblanc pickup conversion kit and put a true single coil in there too. I’ll keep and eye on this thread because I do like P90/single coil tones in the neck position.

You can keep an eye out for a used old PRS Singlecoil Bass pickup too. I believe it’ll still work with PRS switching, and has the proper magnet polarity for the in-between sounds.

P90s are AWESOME and the only reason I might need yet another electric guitar.

I’ve bought recently a Lollar Single For Humbucker set. I thought these would be a huge improvement for my SC245. Meh. Didn’t feel much that p90esque sound. I’ve put 245s back in.
