I have this PRS SC 245 I got back in 2015/16 and it's in mint condition. I quit playing due to a wrist injury and the guitar itself hasn't been touched in over five years.

It has a Brazilian rosewood fretboard and is a 2014 Artist Package. I don't know what the finishing is.

I don't plan on selling this any time soon but how would I put a value to this in 2024?

When I was doing the buy-sell-trade thing I’d look at 8 or 10 comparable models on line and average the price. It worked pretty well.

Personally I would check first the PRS pricelist of that particular year, though it's not street pricing.
Then reducing the price minimum to 40% as a first guess.
Sellers overrate the pricing of PRSi.
PRS have worth, but they aren't sliced bread made in the 7ender or G1bson custom shop bakeries.
2014 SC 245 AP pricing was 4,299USD.
And bear in mind potential CITES I regulations due to the Brazzy neck. This could limit trades without further approvals to US only.
Max. 3,000USD to get it sold, but I expect 2,500USD.

PRS depreciate like every other guitar. Maybe worse. A knick bump bruise blemish changes the buying pool and value big time. I've honestly picked up some of the best values of guitar for dollar with used PRS.

For a your SC245 a good starting comparison would be the SC58. It's what the later SC245 replaced. SC58 had artist tops and the SC58 is one of the best deals out there for a singlecut PRS. My Stripper 58 was a steal that I still think I should PayPal the guy more cash as a thank you.

Reach Out To Me When You DO Want To Sell It And I Will Buy It.

For reference, I just bought the 2016 SC 594 10-top you see in my avatar for $3K on Reverb. It is also in excellent condition and blood orange with 59/09 pups. Looks almost identical but not an artist package.
