Hi everyone,
Unfortunately yesterday I scratched my brand new PRS SE Custom 24 guitar with the hateful chair where I play (it has a bolt where the arms are attached). They are not deep scratchs, they seem to be shallow. There are not dents either.
I have read a lot about guitar polishers as for example www.guitarscratchremover.com and it seems to be proper only for some kinds of finishes (they talk about high glosh finishes only).
In PRS webpage (https://www.prsguitars.com/csc/faq.html) they talk about a finish called V12 (from 2010) as a midpoint between nitro and acrylic. They specifically say that V12 is extremely thin to allow the guitar to resonate, so I don't know if this kind of polishers would damage the guitar of works without any problem.
Have you ever used or know someone that has used this kind of polishers? Did it work? Any problems as dull results or halos?
Thank you very much.
