How to order a specific guitar?

Hi everyone.

I wish to order a specific PRS (509, violet, burled top etc) but no dealer here (France) can either give me a price or even a duration before delivery.
Is there any way to order directly to PRS?

You will need to stick to the standard options and colors unless you want to spend a huge amount of money for a private stock model made exactly how you want. First try going to that PRS Europe web site and see if you can find a dealer to work with. Or, go to the main PRSguitars.com web site and follow the links to the Private Stock section if you want to spend $10,000.00 or more.

The main thing I wish is to have it in violet which is one of the proposed colors for this model, all the other specs can be standard.

Even Private Stocks still have to be ordered through a dealer.

If you can't find one in France there are plenty in the UK who could work with you so the guitar wouldn't have to travel too far. Try Peach Guitars, World Guitars, Sound Affects or Guitar Village...

A burl top would have to be Private Stock... but if you can let that go and are happy with a straight-up 509 in violet then any of the above should be able to get you a price fast. The wait time can vary though as PRS makes guitars in "batches"... but for all you know one of the dealers has one on order already anyway...
