How To Get BOSS RC-500 To Recall Saved Rhythm Patterns?

Hi, I'm using a MC6 to control the assign features of my RC-500 like this:

1. ASSIGN1 Turn on drum PART1 ON/OFF
2. ASSIGN2 Alternate between rhythm patterns FUNK3 & LATINBEAT3
3. ASSIGN3 Tap Tempo
4. ASSIGN4 All tracks and rhythm ON/OFF
5. ASSIGN5 Clear all Tracks
6. ASSIGN6 Rhythm(only) on off

Everything is working except ASSIGN2. When I tap the button to change from one rhythm pattern to the other, the RC-500 stops & then the previously saved patterns are changed to "SimpleBeat1" & "Blank".

How to get the RC-500 to recall the saved patterns? Thank you in advance.
