How to equalize volume for S2 hum. and s. coil modes?

Anyone have any suggestions for a way to eliminate volume drop in S2 when switching from humbucking to single coil modes ????

A friend told me his Core model does not have this issue.

They've (PRS) worked with capacitors (I think that's the doohickie??) to eliminate such a drastic drop ...and recent guitars with coil tapping don't do it so much.

Hmmm. . . there is definitely a volume drop in my semi-hollow S2 Mira. I wonder if the semi-hollow body somehow has an effect. . . Perhaps I should contact PRS.

Thanks for the feeedback !

A compressor helps, as does a booster on your pedal board.

I've gigged both S2 and Core with the resistor taps and it works quite well. I leave light compression on at all times. I lose a little output when I tap, but the tone gets brighter so it still cuts through the mix quite well.

I have two overdrives-- I guess I could use one as a dedicated boost for the coil-tap tones.
