I was planning something special for my guitar.

Red green blue bird inlay on the top
Custom 24. Gold etched fingerboard inlay.
Visible v grain. Perfect bookmatched top

They aren't specs I can usually find in guitar shop like willcutt or wildwood

I want to make it special so I don't regret it.

I was wondering if I saved enough.

I am willing to spend 14000 dollars.

Is this enough?

Talk to any of the major PRS dealers, one with a reputation for outstanding results. Within that budget, you should have the option of visiting the "wood library" and personally select/specify everything.

The intricate inlays will be quite expensive. However, I think you have plenty in your budget to get this done! Perfect book-matching is a little bit of a stretch. You never know how that will end up, once the Top carving gets started. You should go to the Wood Library & pick out all your Woods, Inlays, etc..........

+1, this guy knows what he talking about. Well, I think :D.

+1 With the more intense grain patterns the angle of the grain running through the billet will move around as they carve the top / remove wood. How much depends on billet itself...

Whatever you expect...it'll exceed your expectations...

I've been very happy with the results I've had, and I had high expectations.
You can do a lot with your budget, including going to select wood in person, which I highly recommend.

Your figure will get it done but don't tell the dealer you have that much to spend (or you will).
