1987. Still have my beautiful `87 Scarlet Red Custom.
'97 for me. McCarty.
Bought my first in 2001.
2003...an SE Singlecut Soapbar.
I think it would be 88 or 89 for me.
Hence the name, '88prs... bought a Custom 24 10 top with birds in 1988 and been hooked ever since.
I played one for the first time in 1990 while working in Dallas. I kept playing them in music stores around the country until I bought one in 1996. It is beside me now, ready to play again.
I'm a relative newcomer. I bought my 2013 P22 new in December 2014. I've added 3 more core PRS and sold quite a few guitars of other makes since. I just wish they offered a piezo option on every model!
03 cu24. Wish I still had it. Played it for 13 years and then traded it.
Picked up the 2008 SC245 in my avatar a couple months ago. I love it. I would like another PRS very soon.
I lusted after them for quite a while. I had one of the early SE Custom's for a bit in 2008 and sold it off as I went through a different maker phase.
I found my blue CU24 in a local pawnshop and never thought my wife would go for it at the time (5 years ago), but she did! Ever since then I've been completely hooked! I've had 2 that I bought and sold (really miss my old Standard 24), but I have some good ones in the bunch now for sure. Such incredible guitars.
Bought my first in Dec '98 after wanting one for a few years. I go through phases where I play other brands more, but there has been at least one PRS in my rotation for 20+ years.
Shoot! I thought you had 88 of them.
Part of the ‘93 club here.
Bought my '95 CU22 in Feburary of '95. Still have it, a few others, and have owned several more that have moved on.
Hi, I’m Les and I’ve been a PRS addict since 1991.
I’ve never gotten clean.
Well.....it would be a good start.
2 months. I'm loving my humble S2 Standard Satin all-stock.
In January of 1998 I finally received the 97 CE24 I had ordered quite a few months back.
Vintage cherry, one piece mahogany body.
God I still love that guitar.
Lately the WT neck feels a bit thin sometimes, but overall this guitar still feels like home. Just feels right
You guys are all at 20 years plus! I’m at three weeks. It’s the strat Ive had for almost 20 years.
