How long between getting your First PRS to your Second?

I got my first PRS last weekend, two feet in and got a custom 24 as not just my first PRS but also my first and only solid body guitar.

So exactly 1 week on, I am getting a little GAS to get another one, but weirdly, I want to see what a SE is like, namely the ZM one as I am intrigued with the semi hollow body and satin neck.

so, how long was your gap between your 1st and 2nd PRS.

p.s. I had no guitar 7 weeks ago...now I have 2 Taylor and 1 PRS...serious GAS that need medical attention me think.

4 days but they are both se models and both were nos and the prices were amazing.

You have a couple guitars that will be so good of quality that learning to play will be a breeze.

I've had my first and only PRS for over a year now. And while I've had GAS to get another one, my marriage is still great and I don't want to jeopardize it! :p

I had a custom 24 (25th Anniversary), that I had for awhile. Ended up selling it, here I am a few years later, and I've pre-ordered the ZM. I'm super pumped on it, and can't hardly stand the wait. I liked the CU24, but it intimidated me. It was too pretty and too expensive, I didn't want to dick it up. I'll feel better beating up a $700 guitar versus a $2k+ guitar. It's only recently that I've wondered if maybe selling it was maybe not the best choice.

It was about 2 weeks for me and the third and last prs I can afford for about a year was about another 2 weeks

Well I just bought my SE a couple weeks ago, and I'm already thinking of getting a PS built at the end of the month... I suppose we'll see though.

About 6 years for me…sold the first to fund the second, then it was 4 months before I picked up an SE on ebay for a project guitar.

I bought a used SE Singlecut. Liked it. My wife didn't like it because it was used. She bought me a Tremonti SE the next day.
I traded th SE SC for a Tele, and the SE Tremonti hasn't seen day light since I got my CE22 6 months later

My first was the "Squier" if you will, of SE's, and I got that back in '10, so about 4 years till I got my Angelus, hoping to pick up a ZM for my Birthday this summer as well.

I bought a SE last March and had a Maryland CU 22 by August. Hoping to have a S2 Starla some time soon!

5 months. First was a McCarty and I was hooked. Sold a Les Paul and used the funds to buy my second: a 20th anny singlecut, which is probably my favorite guitar.

Six months between 1 and 2. Six months between 2 and 3. One month between 3 and 4.

Ha! I can't even remember how long it was between 2 and 7!!! I bought five PRS last year! I hope I can top that number this or next year.

One year from first to second...but first was a PS McCarty. Seven in the last year, two on the same day (the last day of PRSX2014). Bought 3 used PRSi in the last month. I have only ever sold one (a SAS 25th) and still regret it.

I forget exactly when I bought my SE Custom 22, but it was 5-6 years ago. I bought a CE last year which lasted a few days, so technically it was about 5 years I'd say. however, I never really used the CE so I dont really count it. I got my 408 yesterday, so I'll go with closer to 6 years.

8 years. Bought a "b" stock 89 ce-24 from Chuck Levin's in 1991. In 1999 bought a new CE-22 from them. The intervals then went 3 years, 4 years, 1 year, 1 year, 2 years, 1 year.
