I am currently 15 years old and I am wanting to work with PRS as an apprentice to a luthier or tech. What is the most direct way to contact someone at PRS so I can maybe arrange something with them. I live 45 minutes from the Stevensville factory as well.

My PRS SE Custom 24 got handled by Shawn Nuthall himself! He was the one who helped with the repair of my SE cause there was some cracking on the binding and they did a great job fixing it but I got it back in the store and there was a quarter sized chip on the bottom of the body next to the strap button and they fixed it and it looks like nothing ever happened!

Pick up the phone, and make a call. If you're only 15, I'd suggest checking out Maryland's work laws. You may be restricted to how many hours you can work a day, or per week, based on the time of year. For example, when school is in session vs. weekends, or the summer.

Hey any work experience would be great. The minimum age is 14 to get a job license

@Shawn@PRS needs a personal assistant.

If you can handle the dress code.

I don’t know if they’re really looking or if they have a program like that but, he’s probably just about the nicest and most helpful person to ask.
Well I know Paul Miles works with them as well. Shawn did a great job with handling my guitar, would it be wise to contact him?

If I could work as an apprentice in PTC that would be the main goal for me at the moment.

I’m fairly certain you gotta be 18 to work in the factory.... because, I mean, it is a factory.

Everyone
starts as a sander, it’s kind of a requirement. But, maybe they’ll let you clean toilets, sanitize keyboards, run errands, etc.? I have no idea.

Your enthusiasm is commendable, never lose it.

Call the main number and let whoever answers know that you are 15 and are interested in a career making instruments. Ask if you can talk to someone about setting up an informational interview about the field.

Even if I can't be able to work under a tech at PTC, I will still try and apply when I'm 18. And yes, it is factory work, stuff is dangerous. But I am casting my net to see how far I can get
