How do I care for the maple neck of my PRS Dustie Waring CE24 guitar?

I have a Dustie Waring CE24 with a maple neck. I have 2 questions regarding this guitar:
1) How to care for the maple neck?
2) Is the maple neck varnished or just oiled?
Thanks for your tips.

Are there perhaps any further comments from someone else? That would be very gratifying

Just a dry cloth after you finish playing to remove the oils. For a “deeper” clean when changing strings you could use whatever cleaner you use on the body/back of the neck. Do not use a fretboard conditioner like for a raw wood fretboard (rosewood, ebony, etc).

Wipe with a damp cloth?

Does anyone know, if there is a varnish on the neck?
Dry micro fiber towel. I have the Hardtail version and the back of the neck is finished in black satin. If it gets "grimey" I would use a Scotch Brite pad with light pressure and give it a little back and forth. Otherwise, just a dry micro fiber.

If you have an unfinished maple neck, it doesn't really have anything on it. PRS says they use something to "infuse" the wood. It feels like bare wood, but there is a little something "in" there. As for the fret board, PRS does not finish them like Fender does.

Don’t use lemon oil, or any other citrus oil, or fruit. Just wipe it with a dry cloth. If the fretboard is dirty, use a slightly damp microfibre cloth. Lemon oil is bad on a maple ‘board.
