HOLLOWBODY PICKUP ?

just picked up a 02 mccarty hollowbody II. going to replace the pups. has anyone tried or put UNCOVERED pups in their hollowbody's. how did they sound. are they more apt to feedback being uncovered?

No, I'd bet fine, and no. Actually, covered humbuckers are more likely to feedback if they are not wax potted.
