I recently acquired a 2004 McCarty Hollowbody with Archtop pick ups, which are ok. However, I'm thinking about dropping something else in there. Something with a little more "rawk". I think 57/08s would be a good choice but wondered what others have done, I thought I read somewhere on the Forum that Starla pick ups sound great in the HB, but I couldn't find it anywhere. So, I'm curious what you HB owners have done with respect to pick up swaps?
