Hollowbody II with a trem??

Hi....

After reading about the SE semi-hollow with a Bigsby.....got my to wondering....


Could a HB II be retrofitted with a Bigsby....or even just a PRS trem?

PRS trem would be a no. You would need a center block to mount it to which it does not have. Bigsby? yes.

The Hollowbody 2 25th anniversary editions in 2010 had solid centerblock construction. You see a few of them around still...maybe PTC could put a PRS/Baggs piezo Trem in one of those, if the CB is wide enough. Would be an interesting project....
